Memories of Yesterday
Updated: Sep 8, 2020
As I am enjoying a Sunday afternoon with my husband, my mind goes back to when I was five-years-old. My Grandmother Lena is visiting our family from New Jersey. She loves to go for long walks. I remember it was a Saturday. So I told her that I would take her along the route that my kindergarten bus would take. The bus route went up and down each street of my neighborhood. As we were walking up I told my Grandmother I wanted her to meet some of my friends that I lived nearby. She thought that we would just be going around a couple of blocks. We walked the whole neighborhood which consists of many roads that went in and out. She thought for sure that we were lost. She would ask a lady or a man working in their yard if they knew where the Popsie’s lived as I would be in-toe telling her that I knew exactly where we were. We just had a little ways longer to walk. My grandmother, almost frantic at the end of our road trip, started to see familiar houses. She told me that she would never doubt me again.
Have you ever been in my grandmother’s shoes? Walking down a road you are not sure about...But you had to learn through the circumstance to put your trust in someone or possibly a new level of trust in G-D?
“Trust in AD-NAI with all of your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 TLV
Place your complete trust in G-D. He will make your path straight.
