The Meaning of Awe
By Leta Van Brussel
I prayed for several weeks, “Should I write these next two blogs?” I finally received the answer this morning. “Yes” - my story of my “love for,” my “trust in” and my relationship with Ad-nai would not be complete without them, as I’ve been called by Him. I am old and soon to die, so I don’t want the witness of G-D’s power and glory to die with me, without being told.
Some time ago, an acquaintance told me she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. I told her that I, too, had breast cancer and that I prayed and G-D healed me.
A week or two went by before I saw her again. I then asked her how she was doing, and she told me that she is scheduled for surgery. She sat down beside me, and I asked her if she would like me to pray for her. She said, “Yes,” so I took her hand into mine, closed my eyes and communicated with G-D - I prayed. I felt His healing energy flow from my hand to her hand.
A few days later I saw her again. She had her surgery and was waiting to hear the doctor’s report. I called out to G-D, “If this is what You called me to do, “LET HER BE HEALED,” as a sign from You.
The next time I saw her, she told me she had gotten a good report from the doctor. In the examination of the tissue in the lab, no cancer was found. She had been healed! I was speechless at the awesomeness of G-D! I put my hands over my face and began to cry. Afterwards I couldn’t speak of it, I just cried in awe of G-D’s power and glory every time I thought of it - even to this day.
He shall overcome! There is a message of hope for all of us in this. Yeshua overcame death when He rose on the third day, because He was “clean,” He was Holy. Through His Holy sacrifice for us, He made us “clean,” so long as we accept this gift by repenting of our sinful ways and follow G-D’s laws given on Mt. Sinai.
G-D is pure and holy; there can be no uncleanliness in His presence. Therefore, we cannot dwell with Him in eternity unless we also become pure and holy.
As G-D, through His love for us, heals our body, He also healed our spirit and washed it clean when He came as Yeshua to teach us His ways and to offer His pure and Holy physical body as sacrifice in atonement for our sins. Thank You, Ad-nai, for showing us Your love.
